Activity Guidelines
Co-curricular programs refer to experimental learning activities that complement, in some way, what learners are learning in school, i.e., personal or mediated experiences that mirror or are connected to the academic curriculum.
When participating in co-curricular programs, parents or guardians and learners alike are reminded of the following:
- Full participation is encouraged, bearing in mind that the curricular program must be given priority over the other;
- Only clubs and organization that underwent accreditation and approval of the school principal should be participated in by learners;
- Learners who will participate in co-curricular programs must seek the permission of their parents or guardians before they should be allowed to join; and
- Make sure that teachers are present while the co-curricular progarm is going on.
